Description
The master of the land of the giants, Jotunheim, Thrym is the king of all the Jotun, or frost giants, and is the destructive power of ice and snow given flesh and blood. In one of his most daring strikes against the gods, Thrym stole Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, and held it for ransom, demanding the goddess Freya be given to him as his bride. Disguising himself as Freya with a little help from Loki's magic, Thor travelled to Thrym's castle, stole back his hammer and proceeded to kill all the giants who had come to the castle for the wedding. Needless to say, Thrym was NOT amused.
