Description Bill Murray, my all-time favorite comedic actor. There is little this man has done that hasn't made me laugh. In his later years he has turned to doing some very interesting films like the Wes Andersen stuff and the films with Jim Jarmusch but is still as funny as he's ever been. He's always had a great face and it was cool to do this one. I drew this in about an hour with an HB pencil on 8X10 copy paper.

Interestingly enough to me, my buddy came over last night with Where The Buffalo Roam, that starred Murray as Hunter S. Thompson. I had just faved your H. Thompson drawing and now this.

I liked the flick. I mean I think you'd preeetty much have to be a hardcore Murray and Thompson fan, because the movie itself is a tad poor.

Peter Boyle plays a character named Lazlo. He was pretty good as well.

Yeah, "Where the Buffalo Roam" is a bit on the indie side so it isn't the greatest quality of a film and it's one of Murray's very first films,me after Meatballs and before Caddyshack and Stripes. Any fan of Thompson's will undestand the film much more for it's brilliance especially for Murray's portrayal of Hunter which is even more deadon, I think, than Johnny Depp's. Murray really "is" Hunter in that film. If the film has a major flaw it is that it tries to capture too much of Hunter's experiences and legends in only one film.

right on, I completely agree. It pained a larger than life picture of him and Lazlo that took away from the film I think.
