I like the atmosphere of this piece. It makes me think of home. Yes, home is rather dreary, but I've come to enjoy that sort of weather.

Amazing... I love the washed color look... these pieces are astounding... they are so... tranquil... but yet... seemingly strong... beautiful.

Lovely. I like the way you used the acrylics, the colour's so mellow and watery. Kind of contrasts with what most people think of in relation to the term 'summer camp'.

the colors you used in this are so beautiful and serene. they look sort of washed out, but in a very good way. it creates a such a pretty mood. very nicely done!

Beautiful technique. It is startling yet ...i THink it is so startling because you use such dark yet light tempered colors. Beautiful.

This is lovely. Subtle colors, great composition, looks more like watercolors, how did you manage it with acrilics?

acylics work alot like water colors...only i find them alot better. water the colors down and work into thicker paint. its best to build them up. besides with acylics i find there is alot better 'control' over the paint vs water colors...water colors always just end up all over the place for me.

heh x_x...
this was drawn from a picture i had of when i went to MI for a sailing Scouts Camp. at the time i was living in utah though so it was quiet the long haul. heh every time i see this drawing i know exactly where i was and when i toke that picture. it was the day we toke the long long long sailing trip to an island. half the trip we couldn't sail cause of dead zone wind or no wind at all. lol the boat in the picture is the one i was saling on ....called gumbi, yes like clay thing, guess what the other was called? pokie heheh. one was red the other green lol. but we made it to the island right before sunset when i snaped the picture. it's one of my fav's

yes well each media i have different habits it seems; While painting i would be loose and free, water colores even more so, any kind of pastels pencils or drawing material just damn sloppy, ink tidious and controling, but my cg work.... ._. i'm a perfectionist.

thank you, it was one of the main points of the assignment was to get the brush strokes with "meaning" our teacher had us study various chinese drawings and caligraphy for hours x_X
