Pretty lame title for something I've spent a few months on.
Blegh. And also HOLY CRAP IT'S NOT A SPEED PAINTING! *shocked face*This was painted for my great-aunt. She wanted a big, beautiful, realistic lion. Thank goodness for stock photography and a free local zoo.
I think his nose still needs some work (is something crooked about it? I can't tell anymore) but this is pretty close to done. I'm very proud of the fur, and pay no attention to the dark and lazy background. XD

This is amazing!!! ;0; I think that maybe the shadow on the left side of his nose makes it look like he's snarling a little. I'm not sure, but something about the left of his nose makes him look snarly. Is that a word? I dunno but I think you get my point

This is fantastic, beautiful and so realistic! To improve, I would add a feint shaft of light beaming down so it explains why the lion is bright against a dark background. Otherwise, it is beautiful and the most realistic drawing of a lion I've ever seen....well done!

This is Amazing! Great, great, great work. The detail is truly incredible. One thing that catches my eye is that the paws are a bit small for the big head of the Beautiful beast. <3 Other than that; This blows my mind!!!

That is amazing! What paint is it? Oil? The background is a lovely dark conrast to the pale fur; it draws you in to the lion, just as it should do.

So...for the contest do u mind sketching? coloring in with color pencils all types of colors? or painting?anything goes but I dont want realistic realistic I want a cool picture I have to edit some more so that its a bit more understandable.

Basically, my father is a Zoologist, and we've raised lions all my life, (when sick or injured or abandoned) and when I was 13, I got two raise two myself. Well, the government wanted them back for a breeding program that would've resulted in their death, because it was still experimental, so basically, after I refused, they were going to take my lions away and hurt them, so I ran away with them. I took them all the way from Virginia to Colorado... Long story. You can read about it in my book!
