WHY does the Air Force in SG-1 have starships. Of anything, the Navy has more expertise in operating in that kind of enviornment. All the Air Force does is drive satellites.
Still, the ships were SO cool looking.

It's an original design based of the earth ships from Stargate.

It's based on the Stargate franchise as a whole but the ship itself is an original design so it was never seen in the show just based of the style of the ships in the show.

oh does the excalibur have a hangar or does it depend on the daedalus for fighter support. If so a true carrier with cloaking abilities would be better since the daedalus only carries 16 F-302s.

It has a hanger on the under side of the ship and would hold about 40 F-302s.

Wraith hives are about 11km long so yeah they are way bigger.

what are thoughs blue circular objects on top of the excalibur and ares? and any idea on how the excalibur sizes up to a wraith hive ship?

They are part of the ships advanced shield system.
The Excalibur is a little over 1km long. (I use the size of 550m for Daedalus)

Out of curiosity, why do you have the 303 (Prometheus) class as the Tempest class?
Another version of this char had the Ares and the Tempest switched in names, and the 303 as the Prometheus class.

Because it's not a 303. It a ship based around the Prometheus but a class of it's own. If you compare the shows Prometheus with the Tempest you will see they are different designs but similar in overall style.
If it has the Prometheus on the list someone else must of added the names. The only ships from the show that I have made are the Daedalus and the Ha'tak. The rest of my ships are original designs based on the ships in the show.

No USAF Jumper? haha jk Awesome models though. I stumbled across the Daedalus when I was looking for reference images on it for the 3D model I was going to make. I figured it wouldn't have been done so well already. Obviously I was totally wrong and need to find some other ship to model. haha.

Put any thought into contacting MGM or the directors for the new StarGate: Universe? You've ideas are awesome and if you went about it the right way you could have a job, or at least have your ship ideas used.
