My collage assignment for ART 170. I was given a page from an old book and told to create a visual narrative using 3 adjectives, 1 noun, and a verb from the page. My words were wicked, secret, bitter, shadows,and kill
yes, I got an "A" on the assignment. The teachers who run the class were like "it's so twisted and grotesque and perverted and disturbing and macabre. . . I want to look away but I can't." this collage is now on display in the school's Art Gallery and probably will be for the next month.
recognize some of the imagery? I've been posting bits and pieces of the collage up here on DA as I complete them.The brown tones are a sepia wash, looks like coffee, smells like rotten eggs and has a hella cool effect. Enjoy.
BTW, the poem is by me, translated by me. BOOYAH!!!!!

Well, I guess you took it in a different direction than I ever did; I saw my friends' artwork and decided that there was no way I could ever catch up.
I have a lot of trouble with proportion. I tend to make people much longer than they are wide. My Life Drawing teacher actually joked that men would appreciate the distortion. I'm working on improving, but it's VERY slow work, lol.

lol, yeah, the poem's of my own design. . . and here in the states we use "uber" as another word for "cool" or "a big deal" it's one of those words that has many different meanings
