Description Finished character turnaround. I'm actually rather embarrassed to upload this without really fixing the back view. I realized I drew the "fingers" of the wings far too high, based on the angle seen in the other views. I also messed up the back legs pretty severely, but luckily they're mostly covered.

None of them are done, in terms of refinement. I didn't change the fur on the tail in any of the pictures, only giving the tail a point in one of the views. The rear 3/4 view is the one I have polished the most, the entire head area has some refinement on it, all the way down the neck. The tail markings were also well-polished on that one, having nice, crisp edges and sharp points.

If you can give me some advice and point me to somewhere that might be able to help me understand the way rear legs are supposed to work, it would be greatly appreciated.

I will also be updating this occasionally, with better lines/colours, though colours will probably come last.

Well, rather than trying to write excessively and make a process seem more complex than it needs to be I will give this snapshot rotation of images see if this helps. [link]
I think the back legs are bent at the joint a little to far as I see from the side view, as I would think that if the legs were that way he should be almost going into as sitting position. I like the progress so far.

Many thanks! The only problem I see is the fact that that dragon seems to have a slightly different style... I usually use feline anatomy for the body. That one just looks a little... off. I can't quite describe it. Although I'm sure I can find some images of big cats in motion in my class, I need a more versatile format than print in a book, so I can draw on it to take visual notes and such.

Yep am sure Google is full of big cats in motion for this project of yours, and as for the versatile for format, duly noted.

To be honest, I actually didn't think of using Google...
