Commission for of her and her partner's Dofus Characters, enjoying themselves on a day out together.Was slow getting this one finished, never knew shading could be such a nightmare. Enjoyed it a lot though!
On a side note, grass is kinda fun to draw :3

I don't no, I did once for a couple of weeks, but more than that no. I'm super picky about my game's graphics and after having been a rabid wow freak for years, dofus felt a little bit anaemic to me D:
WoW is like my bad drug habit that I have to focus all my will on not going back to. Do you have ANY idea what the new pandarean race announcement did to me? DO YOU? It's like a crack addict being told that it now comes IN STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR.

I've never played it but the art books are lush 
I'll never start WOW... I used to play warcraft back when you could complete it, but WOW is just dangerous, I seriously have lost friends and know people who've had divorces over that game

Yeah ask her, I'm sure she'd be more than happy to have them :3 The art books are lovely, I saw some at MCM, I'm just slightly disappointed by the in-game graphics tbh.
Yeah don't start, lol. It's awful. I played Warcraft as well, it was because of it that I first tried WoW, because I loved all the lore in the games.. I've been wow-free since January though :3 *proud* And yeah I've seen it mess up relationships and lives in general.. some can do it in moderation, and I applaud those people, cos I can't.

yeah, I think I'd be like you, I wouldn't be able to play just a bit. - it's the same reason I never got into City of Heroes/villains, even though I have friends there who've tried to pull me in

Haha, I was tempted by the art books! There were so many of them though, I think that's what put me off. If it's all in one big one then yeah I'll pay whatever amount and buy it, when they start scattering it about in several smaller ones, I feel like I'd be missing out on art if I didn't buy them all, then decide to not buy any.
My boyfriend got me an Alphonse Mucha art book which I absolutely love.. Started working on a picture in that style [link] It's fun because I also adore Adam Hughes' work and he's been quite heavily influenced by this style too :3
City of heroes never tempted me tbh o_O I tried a few other mmorpgs but they all suffered from 'not as good as wow' syndrome and I stopped playing them quite quickly.

I'm a sucker for art books... I've seen them for sale before in France but not gotten any, and then been gutted when I came back to Wales and looked through *stressedjenny 's copy of one of the books and realised how awesome it was.... - I just got that one, I had a flick through a couple of others but they didn't seem as good. :]
I've recently been through a Mucha phase too!! - Still going through it, truth be told!! Just haven't had the energy to do anything with it lately. - so far it's inspired these pieces: [link] [link] [link] - I wonder if we have the same book?
Adam Hughes' is one of those names I hear banded around a lot but doesn't mean much to my visual brain.. I'll have to look him up sometime to find out what exactly he's famous for.
I wouldn't have ever been tempted by COH if it wasn't for the players... through I got to know a lot of them and they're mostly lovely guys!

Oh wow, god, so much work gone into this!
That grass is fantastic, as are the trees - all the colours you've used are so bright and warm, it makes me think of summer.
Love the painterly type shading on the background and the cell shading of the characters, the two combined make it look like a screenshot straight out of an acclaimed film or computer game <3
