Edit: Doubled image size so it can be inspected more thoroughly. And now i know that next time I'll use a bit less dither

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it! This is an old piece but I still like it, it was back when I first practiced large scale pixel work. Might revisit the old car theme sometime who knows!

Impressive - this one is kept in shades of brown (only the bumper and the sky introduce paler colors), but still has that three dimensional feeling.
It's also brings to mind thoughts about passing of time. It's sad and grim for me, especially that I'm an owner of an old car.

I think I understand how you feel. I have a LOT of old electronics heck my laptop is 8 years old and still kicking. I love stuff that are more mechanical than digital so you can tinker with them. That's why if I have to use a car I'll get myself an old Lada Niva or something that is not too dependent on electricity and digital components.
This is a normal reaction I fully understand. Passing of time is something we have to live with. It is like how Death is part of Life (Β hence the quote: "The fate of destruction is also the joy of rebirth".)Β a never ending cycle. This doesn't mean I do not grieve loss or the potential to lose possessions or life, but it makes me accept the harshness of existence more easily.

You load the initial image and then go to frame animation where you put the next piece on and go like that. My roommate is going to try to teach me how to use gimp to do this as well, but I'm not sure how to do it to that extent. Β >...<

I know I love 'em animated gifs xD Well I'm mostly intrigued by backgrounds and busy cityscapes/landscapes so I guess I would like to make those kind of pieces come to life. For example flickering lights,rain,moving clouds,birds,smoke...falling and moving leaves all those stuff but ofc depends on the matter at hand
