You mewed, annoyed, but opened your (e/c) eyes to see a tanned man with brown eyes and a strange hat on. The hat was white and covered his hair and ears. There was something about him that you liked instantly. The brown eyed man looked at you for a moment longer, and then a slight smile came to his tanned face. "Do you know how special you are?" He had a strange accent to his voice, but you liked it. As you sat up he added, "You're a very rare Egyptian cat." 'Really?' You think, finding it hard to believe. "Would you like to come to Egypt with me?" He opened the cage, but did not take you out. He was letting you decide if you wanted to go or not. You sat there a moment longer before you stood up. You then walked towards him and mewed softly. He smiled and as he picked you up said, "Welcome home little one." You purr as he holds you gently to his chest. You already liked this human. The way he spoke to you and the way he held you. It made you feel like royalty.

Living with your new Egyptian master was as close to Heaven as you
could get. Shortly after you arrived in Egypt you learned how rare you
really were. Apparently, your 'breed' was one of the first cats to be kept by
ancient Egyptian's. You also found out that there was maybe only a few hundred
of your 'breed' left. One of the reasons? Also, when your kind had kittens
there was only two or three born to a littler. Of those that were born, it was
rare for even one to make it to adulthood. So not only were you rare, but very
lucky too. Gupta (Your master) told you that you ancestors had once been
worshiped as gods by the Egyptian people. You came to love it in Egypt. It was
so sunny, and you liked how it was always warm. "Come (y/n), we are going
to visit a friend of mine." Gupta said as he picked you up from you pillow
that was on the couch. You mew and lick at his hand. Gupta smiled as he carries
you to his car. Riding in his car was always fun for you. You would lie in the
passenger seat enjoying the warm sun. "(y/n) today you're going to meet
another of your kind. I hope you two get along." He then said something
you did not understand.

You had been napping for a while when you were suddenly picked up.
You mew as your (e/c) opened and looked up at Gupta. "We're here little
one," he said as he carried you towards a rather large house. It looked
very nice, but something about it bothered you. You cuddled close to Gupta's
neck, mewing nervously as he carried you into the house. "It's okay (y/n),
everything will be fine," your Egyptian master says, trying to ease
whatever fears you had. It did not help much as you got the scent of a tom cat
in the house.
You stayed by Gupta's side as heand his friend talked in a language you did not understand. Then, suddenly,next to Gupta's friend’s legs, a large tan tom cat appeared. He looked a lot like you, so maybe he was the cat that Gupta was talking about earlier. The tom cat looked at you and you saw him smirk some. 'I don't like him,' you think asyou look up at Gupta, and mew pleadingly. Gupta looked at you and then knelt down. As he pet you he smiled softly and said, "Its okay (y/n). You are
going to be staying here for a little bit today. I have a meeting to go
to." You mew and try to climb into you master's lap. You did not
want to stay here. You wanted to go with Gupta, not stay here with this
stranger and that tom cat. "No (y/n), you have to stay. I will be back,
little one. I promise you, that I will be back for you," he says as he gently
pushed you off his lap and stands to leave. You mew loudly and chase after him
as he walks away.
"No, no (y/n). You are to stay here with me and Sphinx."
Gupta's friend said as he carefully picked you up. 'No! I want to be with
Gupta!' You think seeing your master walk out the door. You mew sadly as
you jump out of the stranger's arms and race to the window and look out it.
There was Gupta. He stood there next to his car looking back at the house you
were in. You mew and paw at the window. 'Come back please,' you think,
watching him, but Gupta got into in car and he then drove away. "It's okay
(y/n). Gupta will be back soon," Gupta's friend said before he walked
away. You mew sadly as your master drove away. "Don't worry pretty, I'll
keep you company." You looked to the side and see the tan tom cat standing
near you. He had a look in his golden eyes you really did not like. "I'll
be fine without your company. Thank you." You reply as you jump down from the
window and start to walk away. You did not notice Sphinx watching you. That
same look in his eyes that made you feel so uneasy.

Almost an hour had past and you master still wasn't there. You
currently were sitting on a window sill watching the birds fluttering around
outside. That cat, Sphinx, had left you alone for the most part. You sigh sadly
still waiting for Gupta to come back. "Why are you waiting for the human?
I can be much better company, pretty." You look down from the window to
the other and said, "Because I trust him. Now leave me alone please."
Sphinx was quite for only a few seconds before jumping up near you. You look at
him before standing up and backing away from him. "What if I do not want
to leave you alone?" He asked, moving closer to you again. "Then I'll
find someplace else to go," you reply as you jump down from the window.
Suddenly, you felt something grab your tail. You look back and what you saw
made you very mad. Sphinx had the tip of your tail in his mouth, keeping you
from going anywhere. You glare at him and growl out, "Let go of my
tail." Sphinx smirks and shakes his head slightly. That movement made him
tug your tail. You glare at him and again say, "Let go of my tail
now." Sphinx just smirks, and keeps the tip of you tail in his
mouth. You growl and spin around. You ignore the pain in you tail, and with a
hiss swat at Sphinx's face. You didn't use your claws, you just wanted him to
let go. Sphinx let go in surprise at what you did, but as you raced out of the
room he growled and chased after you yelling, "Now you've done it you
stupid bitch!" You race into another room and find a spot to hide.
You race under a bed just in time. Sphinx came in a few seconds after you got
under the bed.
Staying as still as possible you just watch him. "Where are you
(y/n)? Just come out and you might enjoy what I plan to do." He said in a
sing-song voice that sent a chill down your spine. 'I don't want anything you
have planned,' you think as you stay under the bed. You watch his paws until
they jump onto the bed you are hiding under. "Come out (y/n). I'm growing
tired of you silly games." You wanted to growl, to tell him off, but kept
quiet. You looked towards the door of the room. 'Can I make it?' You think, not
sure which way Sphinx was looking. .You knew it was only a matter of time
before Sphinx found you. After a deep breath, you bolt out from under the bed
and towards the open door. "There you are!" Sphinx said as he jumped
off the bed and raced after you. "Leave me alone!" You hiss back at him
as you race towards the stairs.
You just got to the stairs when Sphinx jumped at you, sending both of
you tumbling down the stairs. As you two fell, you clawed and bit at him trying
to get free of him. You two fought the entire time you were falling down the
stairs. When you landed you hit the ground hard. And Sphinx? He landed on top
of you. "Get off me!" You hiss and try to get free only to have
Sphinx chuckle lowly and you hear him say, "I don't think so."
You try to get free, but Sphinx had pinned you. You then mew
pleadingly, hoping someone would hear you and come to your rescue. Suddenly
Sphinx was lifted off you. You look up and there is Sphinx's master and Gupta!
Sphinx's master had a hold of Sphinx, and Gupta gently picked you up asking,
"(y/n), are you okay little one?" You mew happily as you nuzzle
Gupta's cheek happily.

Once you got home, Gupta spoiled you by giving you a bowl full of
tuna and another bowl of milk. Once you were done eating you went to Gupta's
room to find him about to climb into his bed for the night. He had taken off
that odd white hat, revealing his curled dark brown hair. He only had on a pair
of baggy pajama pants; he always slept in only that. As he lay down, you jumped
up on to the bed. Gupta looked over to you as he lay on his back. "Hello
(y/n). Are you ready for bed too?" He asks as you carefully make your way
over to him. You mew softly as you climb up onto his bare chest. As you curl
up, he sighs and says, "I am sorry for taking you to my friend’s house. I
did not think that Sphinx would have treated you like he did." You purr
softly, excepting his apology, even though you didn't blame him. He smiles down
at you, and after kissing your furry (h/c) head says, "Good night my dear
(y/n)." You purr a little louder, happy to have a master that cared for
you so much.
