This is a commission of Kaede, a Shugenja of water and fire. No visual reference was given and I was given freedom for her kimono with the restriction that a phoenix pendant be hanging from her obi. The rest of her description is long brown hair (which I styled in an up-do), red and brown eyes, and very very proud of her water and fire ability. Here you see her dropping water onto a flame to create some steam in a near ceremonial kimono with colors to represent both fire and water. I added the green and butterflies because fire and water, to me, means the birth and growth of life and that makes me think of spring lol
