Magic: Fire manipulation.
She can only control fire by shaping it, increasing it and manipulating the heat it radiates. However, she can’t generate it on her own and needs to have some to start with. She uses it in her work as a blacksmith in order to work the metal better.

Hisaki is usually taken for a laidback girl who doesn't really take anything seriously. Although this is true to a certain degree, she's not oblivious to what's going on around her. She looks like someone outgoing, but she actually prefers to listen and watch from a distance, only stepping in when she's asked to or when she just thinks it could be interesting. She actually likes having people think she isn't reliable, as it keeps her from drawing too much attention.

In any case, she's curious and will ask anyone questions about what they do and like, always looking interested. But if someone has wronged her or people she cares about, she'll turn a lot more serious.

She can be considered to be two-faced, but it flips between childish curiosity and a degree of calm that shows she's more mature than she looks like. She holds no ill wishes against people unless they really earn her dislike. She likes giving other chances, believing that people are inherenty good and it's very hard to get on her bad side permanently. As it's equally complicated to anger her. If she does get angry, however, it'll be because she's bottled it up for far too long, and it's not a pretty sight.

History
Where did Hisaki come from? Nobody really knows. She just showed up in Mizuyama one day, several years back, with no money and no plans. Something about the town lured her in and she soon decided to stay. In order to earn a living, she decided to learn blacksmithing. She believed it was an easy choice given her magic, and she learned the trade quickly. Soon enough, the mysterious girl had become part of the comunity. She was now a blacksmith who forged both useful and creative objects.

If asked about her past, Hisaki will alaways answer with evasives or contradict herself. One day she'll say she was just a traveler from the north of the country, that she left when she was of age and leaving her parents at home. Another day she'll claim she was an orphan. In any case, it's pretty clear she doesn't want to talk about her past. Who she was or what she did before coming to town isn't important. It's never been, and it never will.

Nobody needs to know she had nowhere to go, no place to call home, or even a real origin. Nobody knows she's a liar and shouldn't belong to a peaceful town such as Mizuyama. Nobody needs to know she'll someday vanish without leaving a trace.

She couldn't read or write at all before she arrived to Mizuyama. She's still learning! She picked the kanjis for her name herself (and some suspect she picked her name on purpose as well)
