I honestly don't know why pokemon are so much fun to make in 3Ds MAX. its like....an addiction xD I'd have to say dragons n legendaries turn out the best, but i don't understand why! I'll post some traditional art eventually -.- i have a bunch drawn, just haven't posted any xDSalamence- Pokemon

This is pretty good. His is a little shiny and looks slightly like a balloon, but pretty good nonetheless.

yeah i know...lol He's shiny because of the materials I put on him to make him look decent, and because of the lights I had to put around to make him a little brighter, so he could show up a little better in the render. But I'm glad you like it ^^

I know how that is. It is a pain to do Cel type shading or Toon shading and it actually pop out bright. I used to know how to self illuminate object in Blender3D, but then the UI got changed so much that I haven't be able to find it again. Anyway good work.

Lol Blender seems like it is such a pain to use, Im so used to autodesk 3ds MAX, even though I just recently got access to Blender. Just can't seem to get into it.

You should have seen it when it first came to be. It was a complete mess of buttons and dials and tabs. I am the opposite I have used blender pretty much for all my 3D modeling projects. It is a pain cause every couple of months it is changing but it seems to have gotten so much better then it used to so I guess I can't complain too much. I have tried Maya and 3DS Max and it is too much of a hassle for me. Plus the Student pass thing only lasts a year and I haven't the money to pay for the full deal.

Yeah, this is the only time I get to mess with any 3D programs because i'm in school still. Its rediculous how much the programs cost to have at home other than the free-for-a-year student thing.

true. lol i dont know, maybe it all comes down to the whole "you get what you pay for" idea. Most of the time, the better quality something is, it's typically put together in a better way.

I don't know about that. There has been times the I have gotten the more expensive so and so and it crap out on me. Then due to funds I get the 'el cheapo version of the same thing and the 'el Cheapo version lasts LONGER then the more expensive version. Also I don't see how medicine could be that situation. Doctors are always complaining about how UN-healthy we (as a whole) are being and then they try to shove an expensive so and so down your throats or make us do something to better ourselves, but in the end we have to take out a darn loan to survive because we spent all that money on whatever the doctors told us to get. sorry it just ticks me off how things like this happen to all of us, and worse for the poorer families such as mine.

I know how that goes, sometimes it's hard to get by, but you kinda have to make the best out of a bad situation. your family is probably in the same boat as mine lol. But really there's no telling if a doctor is prescribing a medication just for the money,or if its something desperately needed, or maybe even somewhat of a "preventive measure" to help out later on down the road. Only the doctor knows lol
