thanks! I was using a leadholder from staedler and used HB lead. These days I use a .05 mechanical pencils and a .07, you can't get a sharp as a leadholder but I like the fact that I dont have to sharpen my .05..heh

I use those too (0.5 and 0.7), in fact everything I use is staedtler... and I mean everything, from erasers to leadholders to leads and pencils... don't really know why. For details I use a 0.3 with B leads. the tip gets broken pretty easily but when used well it can add a lot of detail and effects to the drawing.

the first time I used a .05 it kept breaking since I was so used to pressing hard with my old leadholder. I'm used to it now and I'm loving not having to sharpen I'd say I use it now 90% of the time. I tried a .03 to get the finer details but that broke even more frequently so I just quit using it. Now if I need a really tight detail I just use a leadholder since you can sharpen it to a really fine point particularly the harder leads like an H or 2H.

you what I totally agree with you on that account. I actually asked them to fix it as far as I know they did but I just don't have the file. the shadows kinda took away from the shape of the page and rather than framing their silo's it kinda made it look too busy. And she forgot to color the top of the head of the elephant..heh

I didn't notice the elephant thing till you pointed it out, but totally...you know the more I look at this the more I wish it would have been inked. Still looks awesome though, and glad to hear they fixed it in the final. Is this out yet in France? I need to get a copy.

thanks. Yeah I was thinking the same too specially since it was very rendery the inks would have show a nice contrast. It should be out in May.
