3: Tail length is equal to half fox. (Effectively just half fox's height)

amber : Outstretch your tail and have Aisty measure it. That's how you can check. I don't know how tall you are though, so I'd need to know that to understand your tail length comparison.

I'd say it should be at least half of the general body height.

A real life fox's tail length is indeed 50% to double it's body length. It varies from fox to fox. That's why I was curious about Amber's. I was about to make mine the same as her wingspan, but that feels too long for an anthro fox.

Usually that's a good measurement to go with. But I am a real nerd about a fox lady's tail. I usually prefer it 10-15" longer than the legs. And so it's really awkward to me, seeing how many people draw anthro foxes with poorly tiny tails, which sometimes don't even reach their knees. But there is where I am glad being artist myself and creating it, as I enjoy it =3

Tails that short are for dogs and wolves. Slightly past the feet is a pretty good rule of thumb for length I'm sure.

Yup! Though Felix's response may warrant a bit of elaboration which I think could have potential for a later story arc, or at least a bit more character development. Also, he's about half feral.
