Description This is a custom order for a co-worker. The polymer clay piece is finished but I haven't attached it to the journal yet. I'm still not sure if I am going to paint the book itself. I'm still tossing around ideas. You all always have great ideas; what do you think?

Oh, the seahorse, turtle and the silver shell toward the top are all metal, there are three small real shells, glass gems and the rest was all made by hand out of clay.

Very nice! It looks great against the black. Maybe you could just use a silver or gunmetal paint to pick out the texture of the journal while keeping it mostly dark?

He'll love it. I vote for leaving the book alone or painting it a *really* dark blue so they don't compete.
