Well...this poor little egg has been through Hell hahaha! It is, of course, a hollow chicken egg and I started off by dripping a birthday candle all over it and trying to dye it with a mixture of coffee and tea leaves. I decided it would probably stain the egg shell better if it was extremely hot so I submersed the egg in the concoction and microwaved it for a few minutes......well, my microwave is an absolute mess now. Evidently it boiled over and spurted all over the place in there....and after all of that the egg had barely any color....sigh*I wound up dyeing it with a mixture of inks and then I doodled all over it with a pencil and highlighted some areas with a watered down white acrylic and then....touched it here and there with gel pens and a silver leaf pen.
LOL!
I was 'sperimenting (as my son used to say) and uh...well, I learned a few things heh!
