Where I am from we open the gift on christmas eve the 24th, as the culmination after lighting the tree

In Spain, most people get their gifts the morning of January 6th, brought by the Three Wise Men.
But, in recent years, it's not that unusual to some people get Santa Claus' gifts in Christmas instead.
Of course, kids want to have presents from both Santa and the Wise Men. XD
