This is the part of the trade with that I owed her for months. U^__^This is a sequel to her story Mirror's Cycle .

I think it's not explicitly told in the main story, but MentalCrash explained it.

The transformation was considerably more swift than in Mirror's Cycle, was the concentrated dose to blame? Always was curious as to what the cause was.
To Glockens: You draw magnificent faces. They're all brilliantly filled with emotion. The oversized heads suit your comics.

Well that certainly had far quicker effects on him than it did on Daniel. Pretty cool sequel but I feel sorry for the guy, I don't think he meant any harm

Just being too busy with adjusting and going after the hard work of college stuff... and, considering how I received critique at another college not far away from MC's for my portfolio today, I can assure you that we happen to have hard colleges... or at least hard entrance trials...
I'm sure, she'll return in time - maybe; 'though this also is just a theory; she - like myself as well - may also have retreated herself now to prepare something big considering her last big announcements... but on that, I'd more tend to my first guess rather than this thought...

well, it's not that much of a surprise. I don't know how MC managed her leisure time before coming over, but I think that must have finally caught up with her.
I can sympathisize with her current situation as I also am pretty much cut off, compared to the past where I was able to work more freely. But now that I have to manage three things at the same time (final school year, getting my portfolio model done and working on the new da-projects), it's not that much easy to balance out everything.
The only thing I might be slightly disappointed 'though is that compared to me - who at least gives constant reports about how things are going or how difficult it is to keep things together - there's no message about her whatsoever - and as much as she might have to cover up now, she can't be that much tied up to not even write a short journal about her save arrival or how she likes/dislikes things.
But as said, that only slightly bothers me. But she'll return in time...

judging her general attitude and comparing it to my situation, I think she'll leave a message sooner or later... latest at semester holidays she surely might write something, again...
btw, has anyone checked in her other account recentely? 'cause if not for MC, then there might be a small possibility that she's just simply active on the other one...

MC has a whole bunch of paid commissions outstanding though, while I hope it is nothing serious I am conflicted because that would imply MC skipped out on a whole bunch of already paid commissions without saying a single word or offering a refund or anything. I kind of hope MC is just busy but it seems a lot more serious than that or MC has no sense of responsibility =/.

I know that... 'though I also happen to know people who have done the complete opposite (= haven't paid the one doing the commissions I mean)...
But nah, she's not the kind of person to leave her fandom behind just like that or not to take any responsibility at all - perhaps she is making some mistakes considering the whole "not saying a word thing" , but aside from that...
The whole background of hers is pretty much not different to my personal situation - especially the last talk I had with her in summer holidays more or less implied that she was just as stuck up as I still am with school, working on projects in the background and my preparation stuff.
But to clear that out now: The reason why I bring up "my situation" to this is not because out of selfishness or to get any attention, but as a way to compare what might be going on behind her scenes and to analyze what must be going on her side - and as such for everyone being able to read those thoughts...
You see... as most of us, she and I are pretty much stuck up in work now - for her it might be even worse than for me, 'cause unlike me who is used to "some" things already, she moved over to a complete new country and as such a complete new world with a whole different system - Germany works much more complex on some things - alone the language barrier which might have been difficult for her to handle already, thus the reason why I tried to teach her the basics and help her out with all of my powers I had back there.
But that and the hard/harsh college system she has attended to now might have gotten the better of her.
Although I am "one step behind her yet" as I am not within such a college yet (but might end up next year, depending on how my work might effect the academics later), I also have to keep up things as I'm generally attending my (pre-)final year (in Germany you can attend 13 grades of school maxinum in general, I am in the 12th now; but in order to get into 13th grade, I am in need for a certain average state which I hope to hit up, but got to attend to much learning in the bg as well) and yet at the same time prepare stuff to get into the college kind I want which is not a easy spot to fill in, considering that "they" only take in a certain amount of students in and last, but not least - I am working at the same time on 2 certain big projects which I hope to hit an outstanding score within the years I've been around here.
So, that's basicly what I have to go after - now about MC: She has to work within college and might also be working behind closed curtains at the same time to get her own projects and also the CMs done.
The whole bgs of me and her are pretty much similar, but the difference between us is that we compete with them differentely.
Like her, I also was encouraged to take on Commissions, but I declined - not because of the quality which has improved since the past years - but more of my disability to handle things timely and to avoid risking any damage or suspension of other things.
So, it was based on this and with the already difficult handling of school and DA working together in balance, that I - unlike her - was wise enough not to take any if I wouldn't be able to spare so much time to do such things.
Additionally, while she may not have written one single word since her last appearance, I constantly "annoy" everyone with me "progression journals" - not because I love trolling, but to give prove that I'm still working on all roads - just am pretty much busy - but still intenting to keep my promises.
I also happen to dislike her lack of communication, but I also don't blame her on it - 'cause she normally wouldn't have to rely on us - it is her decision when to return or not, that's the basic thought behind it.
As said, I don't think it's not that she wants to skip that stuff, but I think that reality also hit her hard in her face, her own disability to manage so many things close together.
'though then, it surely wouldn't have hurt to at least be honest about it and let her customers now that she simply can't make it 'cause of her lack of time and pay them back, but as said I don't blame her on it.
Still, based on the fact that she's attending a college in my home town and what she told me, it would be easy for me to track her down eventually, as she's also living within one of those "student homes" within my home city... so, that wouldn't be a problem at all... BUT I don't want to - also basicly alone that I wanted to become acquainted with her naturally and as such also meet her normally and not neither as a stalker nor as a debt-collector/voice for her fandom to remind her of her duties around here as that's not in my power to take.
And as such, I still hold up my hopes that sooner or later she'll return and explain her bgs and such, just so that most of you won't be worried anymore ('though I correct that one to "we" now as I also am slightly worried about her).
Based on the similarity between her and me, I think that she'll return eventually - but is just in need for more time.
I also am slightly disappointed about her lack of corrospodence, but that doesn't mean that I turn my back on her... so, my confidence is still in high regard about her.
Now, I apologize for that long statement of text, 'cause I think you didn't expect so much to come out. Sorry about that.
But on the other hand, this is what I've also have gone through my head about her - and as such, I've laid all of my cards/thoughts openly for everyone to read to understand how she and I are standing right now and when the time for our return might come...
