(Resubmitting...hoping it's not a red X this time. o.O; )Wooo, it's a themed birthday for miss :devkrimzon-yakkow!
Finally got off the stinkin' sailboat and got to color this for heeeer. <3 <3 And seeing your newest deviation, it seems like I'll just add to the TxA shippage going around. x3 And that's a good thing, 'cause the couple's so cute and badass at the same time, something hard to attain, heehee. 
Dooood, I remember doing some Torn and Ashelin stuff for yer last birthday! xD;; My originality has apparently dropped numerous points throughout the year.
Anywaystothepicture. My favorite thing about this is Ashelin's hair...distracts me from the less-than-great on Torn's. xP Torn doesn't want his picture taken, hehe...but he'll put up with it for a li'l bit.
Unhappily. Ashelin's a bit more happi! than she normally might be, but I didn't want them both looking gloomy. What kind of happy birthday wish would that be? xDAnd the scan turned the background looking LIME-Y. x_x Yick. It looks a bit more army-esque coloring in the real life version, I apologize for that there lime. D:

And Ashelin just looks so happy to be there with him! I love camera shots like these. They always come out so adorable or funny. ^__^ I love the way you drew there eyes tao! So wide and expressive.

I've said this a million times, but I <3 your style. ALWAYS. I love how even though Ashe's lips are very tiny here in comparison to the Angelina Jolie lips she really has, it still makes PERFECT sense since (sensesincehuuhuux3) you never draw lips on most females. ;3 Pure genious.
Them iz damn k00t lips, btw. Her smile is so cute, and it's rare to see a cute Ashelin. Holycrapkudos!

The skintones on both of them are lovely - you've taken a simple blending technique and have transformed it into something SUPAH - but Torn's speaks to me the most. I love the subtle shadows around his eyes, and his... erm, eyebrowless regions are love. X3 You've got BOTH of their tatts down poifectly. So much better than I could EVER do, and I really really really mean that. X_X; Arrrgh, they're DEAD ON okaywtf.
That BG owns. Really army-esque indeed, and the lime just makes T+A stand out better. Plus, it's thupah nifty! <3

I'm still gonna be a fem-Vin, I just found one of my dad's old white button-up shirts. ^__^ And it's really big on me, so I can roll up the sleeves and stuff well.
I'm sad though, I don't think I can manage the hat. Unless I find some sort of really cool aviator cap on Ebay or something. o.o

ANYWAY. OHHHHH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH MANDY. Such an AWESOME followup to last year's (which I still remember dearly, by the way)!
I'm whoring such a TornxAshelin shipper bug right now so this is likie... OMIGOSH BOOM. Everything about this is so wunnerful and all and eeeee. Just wow. I love love love love how absolutely adorable each of them look... your talent with expression is, as always, amazing. You can just see what the two of em are thinking--and if a picture could ever be "in character" this would most definitely classify as such! And and and I just LOVE the eyes forshizzle, okay? You're definitely beastifying your eye-style and it so totally stands out. And the noses---EEEE, the noses look so adorkably awesome.
The dreads look PERFECT. The tattoos have this soft natural quality about them that I just love to death. And if the coloring quality and smoothness and all around greatness was any better--which I don't think is possible, considering how awesome it is--I'm sure I'd spontaneously combust. I can't get over how great all the tones are and like, the colors are so thick and pretty and I could just like... eat them.
