Drawn heavily inspired by this wonderful song [link]I was going to draw AJ first, then someone commented on it looking like Apple Cobbler, and I figured, she barely get any fan art, yet she has a lovely design, so here goes!

Amazing drawing!
Very calming and I like the styling and detail of the hair.
The use of warm colors make this very soothing,
I also like the glitters in the eye and the brush used to draw the bed.
I like her expression too it's really cute.
The tired look on her face gives me the idea this is applejack relaxing/resting from a hard days work If i'm not mistaken.
Though I wonder what impact it would have had if applejacks ears were relaxed and hanging on the sideds.
Please keep up the good work though! I really like it!

This is a really well done drawing and would be perfect if not for a few particular flaws.
First off, I'm going to refrain from saying anything about your particular art style (which I love), because hey, to each their own.
However, there are mainly two (somewhat major) flaws that I an see instantly. The first being Apple Cobbler (AC)'s eye. She looks very evil and sinister. An easy fix to this would be to angle her brow up a bit rather than down (how you've got it) and you would see a major transition from angry and vengeful to relaxed and innocent. Please remember that in future works.
The second (and last) thing I notice is the window. The window looks as though is is merely a painting of a beautiful autumn tree way hanging on AC's wall. This is really only at first glance, but this is the most important time; at first glance. When you are skimming through deviantart, you are usually looking at a bunch of pictures one after another, no? For you to really stop and look at a work, it has to be really amazing and perfect right from that very first glance.
A way that you could make the window more... window-like is by simply adding some strong highlights of the very edge of the window pane and AC's face and hooves. The reason being is because, as you can see, the main source of light is coming from the pathway outside. Through the window. So the really strong highlights are going to be on the bits of the pony and surrounding objects that are facing the main source of light.
for some reason, though, you will see a bit of a glow on parts that are facing upwards and slightly away from the sun as well. Please also take this into account for your next work.
Now that you've read all that (thank you, by the way), remember, these are just a few things that I picked up on that need addressing. Don't get all worked up about this and please remember that apart from those two flaws, your artwork is absolutely perfect!

Thank you so very much for this critique! Now that you mention it, these flaws are really quite obvious! I was a bit of a coward when it came to the window, because I didn't want to screw up the colour outside it, but of course, adding some highlights would greatly enhance the effect that it's glass, yet not affect the colours outside.

Did you make the window a separate layer to the rest? This way, if you added highlights to the window pane, it won't affects what's outside.
