Description I worked on this for the past couple days. I lost track of time on it though. easily 10+ hours
I'm really surprised I pulled this off! it's a huge improvement for me It is graphite and colored pencil
My scanner screwed it up only a little this time. It added a whole bunch of yellow tints and shadows across the edges, both of which did my best to get rid of without further damaging the image. Part of it is that my crappy scanner is only meant for US letter sized paper. This was a tad bigger.
He has no name But I really like him

The design of this picture is simply superb. It's so simple, and yet so striking. The smooth steely like snout goes great with the ridged scales! You really get that texture here.
Those neck scales, oh, they are amazing. There is so much fine tuned angles and faces. This applies to the other scales too! You really played with the composition here, from the pebble scales to the twisty ones to the sharp ridged ones!

I wanted to make something great after drawing for a few hours with a friend.
They taught me much in a short period. Learning for the win!
I like the neck plates too. The little curvy look they have was added after It looked funny flat.

I was going to post a journal in a couple weeks for them, and another journal for commissions when I get a bank account soon.
Right now I have to finish and art trade and a kiriban drawing,
Then I'm free

I will need to practice within that time span of finals.
What color is he? skin eyes all that.
and digital or traditional. I would have to draw small to do it either way, photoshop can shrink them

i know forward is hard colour of his skin is red and his eyes are blue for the scales thing he has on his neck are green. You can choose how you want to draw it i don't mind
