Okapis are the best, and this style is fantastic! Looks a little like the Little Golden Books style, just sketchier. How'd you do it?

Thank you! I painted out a shape with some loose brushes, filled in some basic tones, and blocked in light and shadow in overlay and multiply layers respectively. I took my thingy and flattened it after saving the selection of my shape and painted over the whole thing.
