i wish our lives were perfect. theres so much that we could work on.. so much we should fix.. and i know i have a lot to work on myself but.. the reality is.. im not perfect. no one is. everyone has their imperfections which is what makes us all unique... we all look alike and sometimes function alike but none of us are really the same. we know we are a part of a greater whole.. more then you more then i.this image is a family portrait... we are all tied together somehow.... but eventually we let go.. we float on.
this is something i did for another site im on.. we do a monthly theme and this month it was "family" and this is what i came up with..

oh my god! this is really amazing! it's compleetly brilliant in every way. the idea for this is what both intrigues me and gives me the creeps! the faces in the ballons are perfect, if a ballon had a face, i think it would look exactly like that! you have a stunning sense of detail! i love the background, the way it is so simple, but has so many values, and little lightbursts. the glares on the ballons! the colours! the hand! everything is beautiful!

This is such an interesting concept and i think you did a very good job executing it.
I really like the color tones here.. they are warm and "earthy" but somehow.. i sense a bit of decay. There are so many further interpretations i can get just from that. Sort of like what you mean.. although we are intrinsically connected, still sort of "doomed" to decay eventually. hehe morbid.. but that's ok.
I like the idea you have here of holding on but then eventually having to 'float on'. Again, i think you really thought this out so very well! I'm not even gonna mention your artistic skill... i think you have SOO much talent and you use it pretty damn fucking well (ok, so maybe i did mention it

hey kat... ive been getting so many comments lately its taking me forever to get back to everyone.. thanks so much for the wonderful comments on everything.. im glad u like this piece it took me a long time to do even though when u look at it... its just sorts looks simple..
i liked the idea a lot but i wasnt sure if i was able to capture it exactly as i saw it in my head.. but im pretty content with it.

This works wonders in dual capacities. First off, it's a great visual representation about what you're speaking of, it reall gets to the heart of the matter. And also, it just looks damn good. Very nice work with the color theme. Perfect variation. Not too much, but enough to make it visually engaging.
