okay... here it is. the finished version. this is not me.. i mean.. its not a drawing of me.. but.. in a way it actually represents me i guess. im blue a lot... and shes pretty blue as u can see lol yeah.. sad and blue. im depressing myself now.. anyway i spent about 4-5 hours on this.. started it this morning out of the blue and worked on it every chance i got throughout the day.. and here it is. i actually really like it. anyhow... please comment if you visit!

have you ever seen the works of mark ryden, because this looks exactly like his work [link]
this is really similar to Rose 42, one of his paintings. if he was your inspiration, you should give credit... or maybe it's just a coincidence. i dunno... either way, he's a great artist to draw inspiration from.

i didnt get inspiration from him... believe it or not... that drawing was completely random.. i do see why u would think that though i looked through the link you gave me and the rose one u were talking about looked pretty similar.. i was like "wow" i dunno... i always give credit to anyone who's work i will use to create something.... but i seriously didnt even think about the 2 looking the same at all... i had seen that picec floating around the internet before... long time ago.. but when i was drawing mine it never occured to me to use anything as inspiration.. now im rambling i dunno.. thanks for the comment.

i love this piece.....
it appealed to me at first because it sort of resembles an ex of mine (a picture of her is in my gallery, name is necole)
the eyes are so astonishing/mesmerizing..... and i'm a sucker for those lips [heh, irony....]

Oops, sent before I meant to. Continuing with that, just having to do with the main and ideal character's name is "Lucie Manette" (not sure if you're familiar with the book or not) and she's presumably "perfect." I can imagine her feeling blue though, too. Even though you clearly stated that this represents you, and it's completely obvious why you wrote "Manet" around her neck lol, that is just waht came to mind. OK.

oh my goodness... *jaw drops and shatters on the floor* that is beautiful... i love the mood u placed on the picture... i can say i definitely can feel that i relate to this lately... i love the shadows and the values... the hair came out excellent with the lines and the light placement... i love how the hair seems to be more blurred than the rest of the face... its beautiful... omg, i love it

magnificent! the smoothness of it, and the details that are subtle, but that add so much to the emotion of the whole thing, this has really caught my eyes, i lurve it
