Description FULL VIEW OR I EAT YOU!

This isn't usually how I do things. 99% of the time I never use Complex Stick Figures but yea. I usually just draw it. But this is the "proper" way to do it that I was taught in art classes. This is for Nick so he doesn't use my old crappy one! The old one will be scrapped btw. Maybe deleted but idk.

So I hope this is of use to use *tips hat* See you next time!

EDIT: WTF IS WITH THE LOW QUALITY UPLOADS!!! I UPLOAD THEM AT THE HIGHEST QUALITY THEY CAN GET AND THEY STILL LOOK LIKE CRAP! GOD! *fumes*

I like the idea of using a box to start the hips. I usually use a triangle and a couple spheres for the joints, but sometimes it causes me to place them too high.

Thanks, yea the box is generally a good way to start things cause it can go for either gender if you change your mind and it usually places itself if that makes any sense at all

I make the triangle work for either gender, but it does have to be adjusted sometimes. When you use the spheres for the joints, the back part becomes the buttocks, and they basically just form a rectangle in front with the triangle.

My method actually comes from a passing glance at a book from Marvel Comics, plus one of those How to Draw Manga books and lots of trial and error, mostly error.

I did study some reference photos by tracing lines on them and decided that a square would be good to try, but I never got around to actually drawing that way.

The thing I used to do years as a kid was completely leave out the pelvis and have the legs just attach to the bottom of the waist. LOL And I wondered why they always looked so weird. It took me a long time to figure that one out.

It's a pretty useful part to have.

At the time, I pretty much always drew characters that had the area covered with armor or something, so I got used to using that to connect, and it wasn't as obvious. Then when I tried to draw others, I had no idea what to do in the middle. XD
