Damn, I'm really happy with this. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would and took less time too. My scanner's not the best, so the original looks better, but you can at least appreciate the colors. In the original webcomics, he's just sort of one shade of orange and that gave me a lot of liberty. I guess all Homestuck characters give a lot of artistic freedom when it comes to cosplaying and fanart because their designs are so simple. The wings were the most fun to color because I had this really strong urge to use pink and green in the drawing, to contrast all that orange. The subtler changes in color aren't quite captured in the scan, but whatever. Everything is nice and vivid and that's all I really care about. I really like my colored pencils. They were a really great investment. So much better than those cheap Crayola ones. The differences in quality are very clear. Okay, I'll stop talking.
