i made this about two months ago as part of a sign that i'd put out front my bedroom door when the birds were out of their cages so people wouldnt open the door

at the time i was only planning on getting tsuki.

ive been listening to 'you are the moon - the hush sound' on repeat for a few days now and i guess it was an ironic sign.

tsuki died sometime today while i was in school.

tsuki means moon in japanese.

she was the moon, and hoshi is the star. i unfortunately dont plan on keeping hoshi as this hit pretty hard and i think she would be better off with someone who has more time.

im debating changing my username as i guess its kinda hard to get over loss when your username everywhere has their name in it. on the other hand, i could do it as a remembrance. im not sure

ive only had my birds for about a month and a half and they weren't very tame but i'll miss them a lot. but i guess i just wasnt cut out to be a bird person.
