I really really want to do this, but it's soo harrrrdddd. Especially because I haven't gotten to all of the films yet. Luckily I have access to Whispers of the Heart and The Cat Returns which are the only two Miyazaki films I have not seen. ...except I never finished Grave of the Fireflies. I've tried to watch it three times now, but each time it just got too sad for me to watch. I keep crying too hard to continue...

grave of the fireflies just getsworse the longer it's on, i have a heart of stone and i'm in floods of tears by the end.
and whisper of the heart is a must see as it is absolutely beautiful ^^

I don't remember where I stopped the first two times, but each time I watched it I got further and further. The last time I watched it, I had to stop when they were watching the fireflies. I don't know why, but this movie is the only film I've ever watched that I've never been able to finish because it reduces me to a sobbing mess of hysteria.

i think it's because the minute the film starts you know something bad is going to happen. the fireflies are so saddening cos 7you know they are going to die just like everybody else.
it's not really feel good film of the year.

... i dont really look through the meme galleries to see what is and isn't made. i make what i feel like making - i'm sorry that you feel that i have stolen someones glory but it's not fair to say this to me. And to be honest when i make a meme i dont want to have to search through the whole of deviant art checking to see is someone else has made something similar. the way i see it if people want to do my meme they will and if they want to do somebody elses they will.
