Dargh! In my excitement to finish and upload this, I forgot a ton of things that needed refining. I'm always so impatient in uploading stuff, meh. The changes will only be subtle, but I'll upload it over this one later anyways. First time doing an actual digital paint. My sorry attempts in the past don't even come close enough to count.Done for a class in which we had to design an advertisement(magazine, poster, etc...) for a product of our choice. I chose Dawn of the Dragon. :3 Cause Spyro is awesome, yup yup. Originally he was just floating in space, but like my teacher told me, "It's kind of boring." So I added in the four elemental spheres of Spyro's powers. I cheated with Earth, the leaves are the generic photoshop brushes which I will eventually change. Dx
Put my link smack dab in the middle cause...well, I don't want people getting this confused with an actual game poster. Boy does that sounds uppity. ;>.>

only impovements i see is needs more teeth a toung and the wing u can see all of needs to be down and left little bit more... other than that really good man i like this picture hole crap load of detail(the movie isnt even that detaild on his face) his fase so detail he almost looks grown up O.o

In nature lightning strikes actually appear blue, purple or white. I'm assuming depending on their intensity of heat, like fire? Don't quote me. xD I really have no inkling as to why most people think electricity is yellow though. Maybe because caution signs that say, "WARNING!" have yellow sparks because yellow is more of a warning color than the cooler blues or purples.
I've even shocked myself to the extent that I actually saw the spark before, it was a pretty blue. :3
Basically though, electricity on Spyro is represented by a purple symbol, so I stuck with that. xD

Oh, for the actual final-turn in image, there is text and all that. I just don't have it on in my gallery so it won't get in the way of the picture, that and I was too lazy to separate the text layer from the same layer that had the sierra company and Spyro logo. xD

Its been ages since I've seen spyro art from anyone in ages,
and I'm glad I managed to view this.
This is spiffitacular.
The details in the shading and on his face are just awesome,
and even though the background is rather plain, it makes him pop out.
