Labyrinth © The Jim Henson Company & Lucas Film Ltd.My entry (just in time) for the current contest over at ~Disney-club , "Draw a movie poster for a movie you'd like to see Disney make".
I fail at drawing guys Disney style
Sarah looks all right because I used Belle for inspiration, but Jareth... *sigh* Still, I did my best, and colouring the lines like they do helped to some extent.Oh and imagine that it's a teaser poster; that's why there isn't much text on it.

Labyrinth was my favorite movie from around age 6-15.... Hehehe

It's probably blasphemous to admit this, but I've never actually seen "Labyrinth". The drawing is absolutely awesome tho (especially the Disney version of David Bowie). *quickly runs off*

Don't worry, my dear, because I wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for Mr HG. I knew The Dark Crystal, though. But if you can somehow get your hands on it, I really recommend Labyrinth.

As much as I love Disney I think they would screw up a continuation. They would over do it on the happy ending princessy stuffs. Labyrinth isn't really like that. But meh, my opinion-not necessarily right.
HOWEVER, I would enjoy seeing second one made since they do have the "Return to the Labyrinth" manga. Hopefully it will inspire a second film.

Yes, their happy ending habit wouldn't quite work with this one (imagine Sarah going "Oh Jareth, forget about Toby, I love you and I'll stay with you!!"

This isn't entirely impossible; Jim Henson Co. is affilated with Disney- to an extent anyway. It would be cool to see this animated. David Bowie could still voice Jareth, too.
