So I was enjoying the different coloring that everyone did of this line art and on an impulse, I did a quick color of my own. Hope you guys like it. ^^

This is a line art I drew on the whim. Even though I have it colored, I still want other people who think it looks like to to color to be able to do so. Feel free to download this, crop out my coloring, and make your own, just let me know if you do so I can see it. ^__^

This is a little surprise for everyone. Miakai is a Dragon who shape shifts. For the vast majority of the series, she prefers to maintain her flying kitty state, but at a point near the end, she is given reason to take on a 'human' shape, but you see, she is a very flashy person and simply being human wasn't enough, so she kept her kitty ears and tail from her fav form and kept her dragon eyes. Naturally, she has a great imagination and is determined to be the show stopping eye catching beauty she believes to be the best and "most honest" representation of herself.

I wish I was a shape shifter who could make myself look any way I wanted.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and I hope someone will enjoy coloring her. =^.^=

oh, and one more thing, I was inspired to make this because of a picture I saw of some one in a pose that I thought fit her perfectly... so I referenced that pose. [link] ^^ Very good artist, you should check out the gallery: [link]

She has green eyes, and her hair will be a shade of silver... everything else is fair game... hope that doesn't narrow it down too much for you.

They waited for her. All of them were wondering what she would look like, and all of them had their own ideas, but all of them were left in shock when she finally arrived. She did keep her promise that they would be able to recognize her though. There was no mistaking her for anyone else, no one else would look like that.

A beautiful girl came sauntering in the front door with long silver hair, playfully draped over her features, with one strand hanging free, and the rest pulled back into an elaborate hair style that she no doubt made up on the spot. This alone wasn't so crazy, what really caught their eye, and everyone else s was the way she dressed as well as the ostentatiously fluffy tail and big perked kitty ears. She was wearing what looked like the top of a kimono, only it fit exceptionally loosely, and she had an over coat on as well, but it was clear that she wasn't wearing a kimono because there was no sign of one below the obi that she had wrapped around her. This left her stomach exposed in all its slim perfection. She had a skirt on that hung longer on one side and was all to short on the other, and she had leggings on that went up to the thigh. They had never seen an outfit like that, and wondered how much magic she was using to keep it from falling off. Gracefully, she meandered up to the front desk, an impish smile on her sculpted face.

"Hey, no animals allow.." The receptionist started to bark... but before he could finish, she slid up to him and leaned in, her lips an inch from his ear.

"You might want to think before you speak." She purred. "Because if you are trying to say that I am an animal, that would make you a very dirty little boy indeed. Naughty naughty."

He was left speechless at this, his face bright red, and his mouth hanging open, it looked like his nose would start bleeding at any moment. Several times, he tried to open his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Taking that as an invitation, she proceeded forward, all eyes glued on her. As she walked up to the table her friends were at, she noticed they too were staring, mouths open.

Aside from the fact that all of them had their mouths opened, they were all wearing different expressions. Kiala had the look an inverter might have if he found someone else selling his invention. Ryu had a look of utter disbelief at what he was seeing, and Koji had an arched eyebrow with an expression that clearly asked, 'what in the world were you thinking when you came up with that?' Miakai looked at all of them for a moment, then frowned.

"What?" she demanded defensively as she sat down in the open chair.

"Miakai..." Ryu said in a baffled tone. "You're..." but he couldn't find the right words.

"You were supposed to be human." Kiala sighed.

"I am human! I used your body as a reference Kiala, and you're human, so it works!" She sounded put off.

"I noticed." Kiala said.

Proud of her creation, Miakai started to explain. "I used Kiala as a reference, but I made these bigger." She pointed at her chest, and continued, "and I made my eyes bigger, but I wanted a cuter nose so I used Koji's nose..." Koji snorted into his tea, and Ryu smirked. "But when I looked in the mirror, I felt naked."

"You're practically naked right now." Koji mumbled.

"and I realized that I missed my tail, so first it was my dragon tail, but that didn't work, then I decided to go with my fluffy tail from the other form, and I changed my hair color to match, but something was still missing, so I added the ears and changed my eyes and then it was perfect." She beamed at all of them proudly. She felt like an artist who had just created the ultimate masterpiece. "This is the best and most honest representation I could come up with."

"You LOOK like a Samo-Yan." Koji sighed into his cup and shook his head. Ryu nodded, but he was grinning now, obviously finding the whole affair rather amusing. Kiala still looked a insulted.

Miakai tilted her head to think about that and then she grinned. "I guess I do... but I'm still human. This body is made up of the same stuff human bodies are made up of, not the air particles of a Samo-Yan, and if it dies, it would decompose like any other human body rather than evaporate into thin air, therefore, regardless of how I look, I'm human."

"What does it matter, she needed a form that would allow her to come in here, and look, here she is." Ryu said. He glanced at the front desk to see that the receptionist had bailed out... probably to tend to a nose bleed, and a new man was standing there... staring at Miakai.

"Right." Miakai said.

"True." Koji said, suddenly grinning. "And that guy got what he had coming to him if you ask me." He snickered and Miakai started to giggle as well, both amused by her stunt.

"I suppose." Kiala said, but she still looked annoyed.

They sat there in silence for a while, Koji sipping his tea, Ryu poking at the food on his plate, and Kiala reading her book. Miakai crossed her legs, then uncrossedthem and crossed them again, her tail started to twitch impatiently. She examined her nails... or more accurately, her claws, and stretched. Her tail started to twitch faster after about two minutes. "How long do we have to wait here?" She finally sighed.

"Until what's-his-face arrives. That might be a couple of days you know. Until then, we wait." Ryu reminded.

Miakai groaned.

"You bored?" Kiala asked. "When you sleep through half the day, you are bored when we are finally actually staying in one place?"

"Yeah, but it's early, I'm usually out messing with birds or hunting or flying about right now!" She fidgeted some more.

"That's true." Kiala said. So why don't you go out into the courtyard or something.

Miakai suddenly brightened. "Yeah, we should all go out there and play!" She sat up straighter and her tail swished excitedly.

"Someone has to stay here in case he shows." Ryu reminded.

At first, Miakai looked disappointed, her face taking on the shape of a pout, but then she brightened up as an idea struck her. She suddenly stood up, knocking the chair aside, and grabbed Koji's hand, pulling him up with her. "That's all right, Ko-Chan and I will go. You two can wait."

Koji instantly frowned. "Don't call me Ko-Chan!"
She yanked him toward the door, and simply said, "OK Ko-Chan."

As they reached the back door, he heard Kiala and Ryu chuckling and he quickly gave them both one last glare before he was pulled out into the courtyard.

Once they were outside, both of them felt a little lighter. The sun was low, casting deep shadows, but where it found something to light up, the dew on the grass and flowers sparkled. The air was cool, but pleasant and the smell of wet earth tickled their noses. It was going to be a really nice day. Koji took a deep breath, and smiled.

"I'm glad you wanted to come out here, it is a really nice day."

Miakai bounded off, humming to herself, arms out and tail swishing. Koji had to smile. Her body was different today, but she was exactly the same, flashy, sweet, playful, energetic and completely self absorbed. Suddenly, she stopped. A sword materialized in each hand and she twirled around to look at him grinning.

"Wanna play?"

Koji just stared at her for a moment in surprise. Part of him itched to take her on, might be a good match... but part of him was wondering about the flowers. They would get trampled. "I... um..."

"Pleeeeeeese!" She smiled at him with the sweetest look she could muster and he smirked. It didn't' faze him. "Oh, come on, I wanted to come out here with you so we could play. Kiala and Ryu are boring sometimes, but you're more fun. We always play together when we're outside, why not now?" This worked. He relaxed and shook his head in amusement.

"Alright, but are you sure you want to play dressed like that?"

"It won't come off or anything! I don't see why not."

"Then we need to find a better spot. This is too confining and there are too many things we could damage." He started scanning the scenery at this point.

"I'll find one!" She was starting to look around too.

"No, I can do that, you're used to looking for things from the air. Besides, I'm a master at finding sparring grounds."

"Well I don't need to fly to find a good spot."

"says you."

"Yeah, says me! How's this, we'll both look and who ever finds one first wins."

"works for me, but be prepared to loose."

"You're going down, Ko-Chan." With that, they both took off to find a good location for their game.

Kiala watched them go from the door way, a sad smile on her face. Koji had become Miakai's best friend in a lot of ways, and if they followed through with their plan, they would end up parting ways and Miakai would have to say good bye to him and their games. She was pretty sure that this had not occurred to Miakai, because she hadn't protested yet. Kiala sighed at this. It was almost enough to make her change her mind.
