FINALLY THIS COMES TO AN END.
i've really enjoyed working on this. Now it's entirely up to the colosseum judges on whether we get through to the first round or not - we shall have to wait and see.
i owe ~TheCrowchan at last count more firstborns than i could produce if i were a queen ant. As scripter, collaborator, and the brains and beauty behind this project, it would have been nowhere near as much fun without her - not to mention, Niko competing without Hunter is a sad and pulpy little man.

GOD HOW LAME WAS I TO MISS THIS GOING UP.
Powerful lame, that's how lame. "Winning regional prizes for UNBELIEVABLE LAMEOSITY" levels of lame.
I'd go on like this, but looking at this page fills me with the happy like you would not believe, haha. Fossil's remarkably expressive for a big man - even that little purse of his lips when he's blowing smoke in Niko's face is perfect - and the boys are as cheeky and cosmically-maligned as ever. Those poor sods. At least they LOOK good.
Niko's "bleh, smoke in my face" expression just makes me want to squeeze him. XD And that "I am going to KILL YOU until you DIE from it" look in the last panel... ahahaha. It's priceless. I want that look on a mural on my wall so I can get horrible giggles every time I look at it.
(And Hunter has, of course, never looked better. His face has never HAD so much character! He's so delightfully lopsided. Hee-hee! What are the odds he tries to find a nice cold bottle to reduce that swelling, though? |D The little lush.)

awwgh.....it has been an absolute bloody pleasure. and if my scribbling doesn't get us knocked out, it'll be even more fun. Hunter is one of the most enjoyable and expressive characters i ever had the pleasure of drawing.

I totally read "Penniless" as "Penisless" at first.
