Description
Ra, the Sun God of CreationRa, like Horus had a head shaped like a falcons but with a Sun Disc placed ontop. Ra was the divine being of all creation including the creation of several gods such as Hathor, Shu, Tefnut, Bastet, Ma'at and Serket. Ra rode across the heavens on his Solar Boat. A great ship which his fellow gods rode by his side such as Sobek, Khepri and Atum. His man job was to protect his creations from a great serpent knows as Apep, the Serpent of Chaos.
One Ra's abilities was to merge with gods such as Horus and Amun.

I want to learn more about it since I was taught more about greek mythology when I was younger. I like Egyptian Mythology, it doesn't seem to be as popular though which is a shame.

But i like Greek Mythology too, but Egypt i like a lot more =]
