These guys are really docile. From what I've heard, you really have to work at it to get them to bite you....but when they do.....geez. They've got fangs up to 2 inches long and some seriously nasty venom.

Oh I don't own one of these. I don't have any experience with venomous or even aggressive snakes, so I'm not tangling with a Gaboon any time soon.
Though, one of these days.....I wouldn't mind having one.
