Is your Nikkor 105 VR the 105mm Micro-Nikkor with macro capability? Is this image not a macro?
BTW, do you know why the dragonfly on the left was holding the other one by the back? Is it for stability?

Yes it is , Nikkor 105 Vr Micro 1:1.
I would consider it a macro!
I guess the male (the one on the left) is keeping the female still not to let her go away,
till she got the semen.

Whoa, I thought the one on the left was the female and was receiving semen with ease. It turned out it’s quite acrobatic for the female to be receiving semen in that difficult position.
