Rani's family portrait!

I see that Tree of Life lies somewhere next to the jungle and in a valley-like area next to African mountains and great lakes. The area is very lush and popular among travellers (and challengers, for that matter). The first lion residents that settled at the Tree were descendants of some lions that originally migrated from Asia, that's why they kept the tradition of Bengali/Hindi names through centuries. They're all Asiatic lions, but during the years the genes have mixed more and more with the local African lions.

So this is Rani, she's now the lone Monarch of the Tree. She doesn't mind it one bit; being on the aro-ace spectrum she's absolutely fine with being by herself. She doesn't consider herself lonely at all. Her children are her entire world. It took trial and error to get where she is right now; she had a rough life and was forced to grow up too soon. That resulted in people-pleasing, marrying Kion just because she felt that was the right thing to do, and eventual divorce. Even though their divorce was... fiery, to say the least, Kion and Rani found each others again and remained close friends through their children and Kion moving back to the Tree eventually.

The three cubs pictured are Kion and Rani's kids. The oldest is Bajra (in the middle), a non-binary lion who is super sweet but finds it extra difficult to make friends. They're pretty shy and struggles hard with their outcome. They're also selectively mute. The only ones they're willing to speak with (and rarely then) are Rani and their younger sister Mithra (the cub on Rani). Later on, they'd also feel comfortable with Karabi, their future wife.

Now Sasha (the cub on the right) is like Prince Charming from Shrek. Entitled and really damn jealous of his siblings. During his youth, all he tried was getting his siblings into trouble. He was (and still kind of is) a whiney mess, and cunning to say the least.

Mithra is the youngest, hence being close to Rani. She looks like her mother, but is a total Kion from personality.

I can come across and admit that this is nearly 50% and edit and traced screenshots. Sarabi's head for Rani's (the rest of her body I drew), Simba's cub heads for both Bajra and Sasha, the two cub poses are based off a comic where Tojo shows up.
