Inspired by the Angel of Death in American Horror Story! I wanted to replace the angel with a shadow-like figure.I'm struggling with who I am as a photographer right now..

To me it looks like a man eating a dead cow's ass. Β The "Angel of Death" needs some more human qualities in its silhouette. Β A hand holding the bloody mans head up perhaps.

I love the location, the lighting, and the pose.
The shadow thing spoils it for me though... it kind of looks like a black manatee. Maybe it's because I don't know American Horror Story though...

It took me a while to get what I was looking at in this picture. At first I thought it was just a naked guy making out with a mastiff in the woods. Better contrast and detail on the "shadow-like" figure would help. Also the "blood" effect looks like a can of tomato soup was just poured on the guy. Something more realistic like the blood originating from specific points would have looked much better.

Perhaps who you are as a photographer is beyond definition. You are first and foremost an artist, soulful, enigmatic, beautiful, and it pours through your lens. A photographer may capture the same when he stumbles upon it, and will struggle to convey the depth of what he finds with his lens. You, on the other hand, create, bringing forth deep mysteries from within. Stellar work!
