Hey ! Bristlefrost is definitely my favourite Lost Stars protagonist, she's a really nice girl, and I guess I should go through some of my design choices for her ?

So she doesn't look massively like either of her parents but has the fluffy fur and not massively attractive, but not ugly either face that I imagine Fernsong has. Beneath all her thick fluffy fur, she's quite lithe bodied, with small paws like I picture her mother Ivypool. Very neat but poofy fur, and lots of neck fluff, but she keeps it all organised probably to try and impress Stemleaf, so I guess that after her rejection she lets it go a little more wild. Her fluffiness, asides from representing her link to her dad is a big sign of how much of a romantic and a kind, soft cat she is. However, the fact that her fur is still kind of spiky in places shows that she isn't just a kind face

I love the idea of her being a dilute calico, so I went for that, with not much contrast between the colours to show how for the most part she does not have much conflict or worry in her life. I made sure to add darker stripes and lighter sections to give some contrast, the love heart representing how much of a romantic she is.

For her eyes I went a bit wild, I love blue eyed Bristlefrost, but I really wanted to play around with colour and for me, I love the look of slightly pinkish orange against the ring of blue.
