Description For ~AnimeVectorArtists 's limited colour palette contest, where we have to use black, white, and another colour.

Mirielle Bouquet from Noir, yeah I know her eyes are supposed to be green-blue, but since I'm only allowed to use one other colour...

I really like this. It's similar to what I've been doing with a series of film noir movies I've been writing and directing. I've been using an either light yellow or golden color in some screenshots and publicity photos. I'm looking to collaborate with some artists on something like this... interested?

this is really wow. i love how the forms in the hair are chunky but still imply rich movement and texture. the black background with the white areas highlighting only certain parts to imply the figure, also a wise move. a lot of white BG acts showin up in this contest i think stand far less of a chance.

i love the shorts-area too. and Impact fuckin owns! the KMFDM font!

aww, thank you! I originally had a gradient for the bg, but thought since everything else is flat-colour, might as well use flat colour for the bg as well (and it makes her melt into the bg).

no Melissa Mao is voiced by someone else according to animenewsnetwork. Kotono Misuishi (voice of Murrue and Mirielle) also did the voices for Misato from Eva, and Usagi from Sailor Moon (among so many other roles).
