Anyway, heavy influence from , she's a great Sonic artist and I loved he first tries of Werehog Sonic.

I like it better than the official one. Though all I have to say is that his upper arms should be thicker, but nothing else is wrong with it. And the pose is cool too. Agh! Everything about it is cool!

I can tell what you can try doing the next time you draw him.
Thicken his neck up, and have the shoulders connect. Also buff the forearms.
His snout needs to be protruding.
His legs...Hmm. I wouldn't worry about anything, as everyone has a different way of drawing him.
So far it's a improvement.

When I first did him, when they didn't have a plausible reference. I did like a long damn tail, arms though were accurate off cue. o__O But I knew he had to have a thicken neck support. When I use to do Taekwondo, they encourage you to strengthen around the shoulder blades.
Just hate it when people make him scrawny, and bitch about he's too hard to draw. Like he shouldn't be designed that way. <__<;
Anyway, glad to help. Still 3 AM? Pah, I stay up till 7 (sometimes) when I'm drawing XD I'm a night owl with my work to.

Neck? What neck?
Sonic chars don't have necks. Though when I draw them I like adding them anyway.
I've stayed up later but I had to get up early so, finished around 3 am but actually fell asleep around 4 or later to be up at 6 so was zombie all day long since the earlier night I hadn't slept much either.
So I'm used to being up late, but I get headaches if I am so that doesn't help my drawings. :/

It's more like regular nice animal turning into a savage beast. At least they didn't actually give him a wolf snout, just pumped him up in muscle and fluff with claws and fangs.
