Description
Little robin poses nicely for the camera. He (I just have this gut feeling it is a he, it could be a she), was making alarm calls at me. I remained where I was, and he then flew within an arm's length of myself. The bird proceeded to examine me, as if to ascertain if I were a threat or not, and when he was satisfied that I was indeed harmless; proceeded to allow the photo-shoot to ensue.

The robin has a grub in his mouth, and he is one of a pair that must have a nest nearby. They are very territorial birds.
