Boudicca, the celtic queen against RomeBoudica, also known as Boadicea (and known in Welsh as "Buddug") was queen of the British Iceni tribe who led an uprising against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire.
Boudica was chosen as leader of the celtic tribes who was really insatisfy with the romans, and she got to make their run away for 3 tribes until she be defeated by them.
Her name means "victory"

Search for Warrior Queen for the movie, but I think the book's titles are Boudica, with some subtitle as complement... I didn't read the books yet, but the critics are talking very well about it!

Isn't anyone who had the courage to face the Roman Empire at its highest power period, even yet just a woman. She was admirable!

There are many things about her that I find inspiring, one thing I really find amazing is that after the Romans got their hands on her, she was able to travel to the 3 tribes that she had been at war with and unite them. That is one huge accomplishment!
