Trying to better learn techniques for watercolor, and discovered simoultaneously the cool beans of using colored pencil along with it.This was the second one I did. Was going to make a series, but you know how that goes.
This was intended to be just a study, or practice, so I used a photo I found and liked (but can't find again to link! D: )

Thank you! The expression is primarily due to the photo reference I used, so no kudos to me for how cute it is.

Just precious! I love the dog's expression, and the cool color palette really works with his fur, I think! :> I had to go back again to find all of the subtle shading, especially around his neck/face, since it was so subtle I didn't even notice it the first time! ^.^ Great job!!

Thanks! Yea, some of the blue in his face was *almost* lost when it dried...very subtle indeed.
