this has been drawn for a thread on drawingboard.org [link] - a cover version of Master Of Kung Fu #19. I chose this cover because it was one of the first US Comics I was ever bought (along with an issue of Gold Key's Star Trek) and I think I was more fascinated by the cover than anything else.Here's the Gil Kane original [link]

Yeah. I would love Palmer's inks on an Al Williamson or John Buscema (who he inked on Avengers) but Kane's work is just too... gesturous. I like Kane inking himself or Klaus Janson inks...
