My friend Bernie Gonzalez put these up on his blog a while back so I figured I'd show these pages here. Back when I was doing work at DC's Creative Services Department, Bernie came up with a cool Samurai Jack story for their Cartoon Network comic, so I penciled it up and had my brother Michael color it and then we pitched it and then...nothing ever happened with it, the editor that handles those books that they passed it along to didn't even respond back to it. Which is unfortunate because I thought it turned out pretty good and the story was a lot closer in tone to the T.V. show than the stories they run in the comic. I've actually had a few artists that have worked on the Cartoon Network comic book tell me that same thing, and that they liked it better than the stories they did on it, so go figure.
