Description This is the first illustration board to my final project in Concept Development II. The ideas I got from the Wilkinson residence designed by Oshatz inspired me to create a line that is of lounge wear with comfy loose garments, asymetrics and multiple layers as well as multiple textures. The kinds of fabrics these would be made out of are cottons and silks that have larger yarns and a soft hand (soft to the touch).

done in prismacolour markers and pencils and compiled in photoshop.

Oh, man, that center design is awesome. Would totally rock it.

Beautiful and interesting. I like way your use of weighted lines and shading using the markers; very well done. I seriously dig these outfits--these could fit into so many different genres or time periods, from something set just after WWI to a space opera in a far-distant part of the galaxy. I also really like that you included was may be tabi!

The patterns and colors are also interesting. I especially like the way the center garment incorporates the angled lines of the design into the closure of the upper garment. And the piece of the left has this great natural, asymmetric look that's hard to capture, let alone make look appealing on clothes.

Sweet stuff!

Hey cheers! I should take another think at these designs... now that I see 'em again it reminds me of how much thought was put into them.

Looks like these fit perfectly with the post-WWI impressionist craze inspired by wartime work on camouflage.
Didn't they arrange balls with clothes made out of dazzle-patterned fabric?

I think I fell in love with the garment in the middle, everything about it

...after seeing this, I'd love to make something similar - clothes made of many smaller pieces of fabric. Not exactly the same as your idea, though, more of a heavier looking coat, tailcoat-based. I hope it would be okay to do so

I like the right-hand one the best, though the pants on the left hand one are awesome. You're so good at creating a variety of different styles within a theme.

Everything looks so soft and comfortable~.

I think I like the last two here the most, though that's probably only because patchworky things are . Heh.

yes, but they're made out of soft cozy fabrics, used these to give some structured garments in the collection.
