Ah yes, the infamous Downey woodpecker. While most birds in the family ofΒ Picidae are motivated to dig into bark to search for food, the Downey woodpecker however is driven almost entirely by it's furious unrelenting hatred of trees.

It's kind of like the one my mom took, only a it's different woodpecker. They're hard to take photos of, my mom finally got a good one after dozens of failed attempts!
