We had this book in compulsory reading...The colours you chose seem a bit cheerful for the overall feeling I got from the book, but they really fit the atmosphere you captured in the picture...It seems like the time has stopped, during the period when everything went well for the characters

In fact, I chose to tell in comics the first two parts of the book. I recut the text to speak only of Miles and his relationship to others in the squatt.

stp esque vous pouvez nous faire un petit tutoriel qui nous comment tu fais la colo des arbres avec l'aquarelle ?

Je pars avec la couleur la plus sombre, que je place au bas du feuilage de l'arbre, à l'aide du pinceau que j'utilise pour donner une forme de feuille. Plus je monte dans le feuillage, plus je prend des couleurs claires. Je pose chaque couleur une fois la précédente sèche (ou non selon le mélange souhaité). Puis une fois sec, j'ajoute quelques touches foncées (car ce sont les seules que l'on peut ajouter, il faut donc bien gérer ses blancs) pour ajouter du volume et du contraste.
Ce qui est important à l'aquarelle c'est la gestion des vides, pour que ça respire.
