Description
The second illustration I did for the contest Bologna children book fair (Italy). I chose to treat different seasons, landscape, climate.There is the Yukon, in autumn.

Pour celle-ci on part dans le Yukon, en automne.

Now thatβs the best time of year to see colors like that, and your creativity shows the detail so well. I can almost think of it as a picture but like that it isnβt since you canβt find pictures that look this good. You almost lost your mountaintops in the background. To use as much color on the sky as you did in the foreground may be overkill but it would make for a more dramatic feeling you could put a few clouds. I like the color like it is bite and vibrant

well, it lacks of blue colors, not atmospheric perspective...too bad.

i don't agree, the pale greys make the automnal colors all the more beautiful and the "atmospheric perspective" is just one classic way to create space and depth in an image but is not obligatory nor an indication for good or bad composition : )
